Where we are?

Situated in the heart of the North Atlantic, the island of Faial is a part of the central group of the Azores archipelago.

The island of Faial is one of the vertices of the so-called Islands of the Triangle, together with the island of Pico, 9 km away, and the island of São Jorge, 39 km away.

HOW TO GET HERE?

There are several direct flights per week to the island of Faial (Horta airport – HOR) from Lisbon operated by SATA – Air Açores.

Come enjoy them and you will live happy days.

The history of Quinta das Buganvílias has its origins in the beginning of the 20th century in the daily living of a rural family at a time when the farms were almost self-sufficient.

The adaptation to rural tourism occurred in 1994 and sought to maintain the fundamental appearance of the buildings and the identity of the estate, while endowing it with the comfort and functionalities necessary for tourism.


Since 2012, Quinta is managed by a couple who has remained true to the local culture and authenticity.
